EFF Mlungisi Madonsela Battalions statement on former President Thabo Mbeki

The Mlungisi Madonsela Battalions of the Economic Freedom Fighters note the return of one of the most misleading neoliberal former President of the ANC and the Republic of South Africa, Mr. Thabo Mbeki. He re-enters the political scene on the eve of the most anticipated National and Provincial Government Elections (NPE) scheduled for the 29th of May 2024, and we wish to encourage all young people to reject him and the ANC on the ground with the contempt it deserves.
As the youth of South Africa, we remember Thabo Mbeki as the face which sought to privatise the polity called South Africa, hand in glove with Jeff Radebe who happened to be a member of the Communist Party of South Africa at the time. They affirmed privatisation as an important vehicle, which led to the collapse of key state-owned enterprises like Eskom, Transnet, Telkom, and Denel to mention a few. Now Mbeki is back, resurfacing to try and hinder the decisive and inevitable victory of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).
This is precisely because the EFF seeks to reverse all his irrational privatisation deals with the captains of the industries, and consequently expropriate land without compensation for equal redistribution of wealth and massive creation of sustainable jobs.
Despite Mbeki's previous criticisms of the embedded and rooted corruption in the ANC, he now supports them operating under the instructions of his masters in asking the people of South Africa to vote for the same criminals to continue holding office.
The EFF Mlungisi Madonsela Battalions will continue to agitate and intensify the campaign to remove the ANC and deliver the Commander in Chief and President of the EFF Julius Sello Malema as the President of the Republic of South Africa to lead the cause for socialism.
We call upon all young people in all corners of South Africa to keep their eyes glued on the day after victory and intensify the campaign of the EFF by spreading the message of Economic Freedom. It is only us who can free ourselves from the shackles of oppression on the 29th of May 2024 by voting for the EFF!
