Newly appointed Transnet board

The President of the Black Management Forum (BMF), Jimmy Manyi issued a statement on Thursday congratulating the new Transnet board.

"We are particularly pleased that the diversity as per the requirements of the Employment Equity Act has been observed," said Manyi. "The BMF is also humbled that both past and current BMF leadership, Mr. Don Mkhwanazi and Ms Tembakazi Mnyaka are part of the board and in them together with the rest of the board we pin our hopes that Transformation will not take a back seat," added Manyi.

"The BMF also congratulates the Minister of Public Enterprise Mr. Malusi Gigaba for this bold and decisive action to get new energy into Transnet," concluded Manyi.
