Daily Sun (February 20 2014) - A COMMUNITY is in shock at the discovery of the bloodied, mutilated bodies of two teenage girls lying in the veld.
They had cuts on their backs and necks and their heads had apparently been beaten with rocks.

The bodies of best friends Thandeka Moganetsi (15) and Chwaita Ratazayo (16) were found at an abandoned park in Dobsonville extension 2, Soweto. The two girls were dressed in the school uniform of George Khoza School.
Razor blades and black candles were found at the scene. The friends were last seen on Tuesday afternoon at about 4pm.
Speaking to Daily Sun, street committee member Cynthia Mbadla, who lives in a house near the park, said she saw four people walking in the old park on Tuesday.
Mbadla said she usually chases people away from the area. "I am tired of finding bodies in the veld," she said.
Yesterday morning a man walking his dogs called her to see what he had discovered.
"That's when I saw the bodies," she said.
She said they searched the girls' school bags and found a phone without a simcard and a notebook with contact details.
"We called the cops and the families," she said.
Pheliswa Rathazayo, Chwaita's traumatised mother, said she last saw her daughter when she left for school the previous morning at about 8am.
"I only had R5 to give her for lunch money but she didn't seem upset at all," said Pheliswa.
Pheliswa said Chwaita was very fond of Thandeka.
Pheliswa received a call from Thandeka's phone on Tuesday night but no one spoke.
"Chwaita must have stored my number in her friend's phone. When I picked up the person did not speak but I could hear the call was made from a noisy place," she said.
Thandeka's guardian, Elizabeth Putsanyane said she was angry when Thandeka didn't come home. She said two of Thandeka's friends came to the house yesterday morning looking for her.
"I told them I last saw her on Monday," said Elizabeth.
"Then I got a call from the cops to come to the veld in Dobsonville."
The People's Paper was at Chwaita's house yesterday afternoon when her friends came to ask about her. When they were told of her death, they all cried hysterically.
The girls said Chwaita left them after school and said she and Thandeka were going to the scrapyard with some boys.
Provincial police spokesman Brigadier Neville Malila said: "They were found with cuts to their bodies and neck. Three black candles and two new razor blades were found on the scene."
The suspects are still unknown.
