ANC abusing SASSA parcels for electioneering - EFF

Fighters say Bathabile Dlamini should personally be made to pay for what she's going around handing out

THE EFF CONDEMNS THE CORRUPT ANC'S ABUSE OF SASSA PARCELS FOR PARTISAN POLITICAL PURPOSES

15 April 2016

The Economic Freedom Fighters condemns the corrupt ANC government's abuse of Social Development services and products for party political purposes. The Minister of Social Development, Bathabile Dlamini, who has publicly admitted to hiding skeletons, abuses social development services for party political and electioneering purposes.

In the morning of the 15th of April 2016 at SASSA Offices, Port Elizabeth, a truck was loading blankets from the SASSA Offices. When asked by the EFF Activists in Port Elizabeth, the truck driver said it is destined for ANC Regional Office, Standard House, Port Elizabeth. When the SASSA management was confronted about the place of delivery, they denied that it is going to ZANC electioneering programme but they were not willing to disclose the address where it's going. It is evident ANC is hellbent to loot more from this government.

On the 14th of April 2016, Bathabile Dlamini tried to handover a Drug Treatment Centre in Port Elizabeth on behalf of government, was was wearing the hideous ANC Women's League uniform, which is evident she wanted to handover the Centre for electioneering purposes. The members of the community rejected her antics, told her to leave until she cried. When they were dismissing her, members of the of the community said "unxilile.... Usele.... Unuka utywala..." (You are drunk, you drank alcohol and smell of alcohol). The EFF salutes members of the community who questioned Bathabile Dlamini's abuse of state resources for party political purposes, and we also believe their observations that she could have been under the influence, hence the sobbing.

The EFF calls on the ANC to immediately stop using government resources and donation parcels for narrow political purposes. The public protector has recently ruled that it is illegal to distribute government services in political gatherings of a political party and again the ANC is disrespecting the office of the public protector. Government resources must never be used for narrow party political proposes, but should be directed for the benefit of all South Africans irrespective of political affiliation.

The EFF also cautions Bathabile Dlamini that is she continues to abuse food parcels and blankets for party political purposes, we will report her to the Public Protector seeking a remedial action which will make her personally pay for those parcels. We know that the ANC is going down, but we should never agree that they drag the country with them.
