"Bucs coach: I won't quit!" - Daily Sun

The front page and lead story of SA's largest daily newspaper, April 5 2013

Daily Sun (April 5) - IT was too much for fans of Orlando Pirates! The Buccaneers hadn't won a single game in the whole of March and in Durban on Wednesday, they played to yet another draw against Amazulu. FANS' ANGER BOILED OVER - AND COACH ROGER DE SA NEEDED AN ESCORT OF SECURITY GUARDS TO LEAVE THE PITCH! Fans want him to start winning games - or resign. But De Sa told Daily Sun yesterday: "I'm not a quitter!" For the past two seasons, Pirates have won the PSL title and other trophies. Now this does not seem a reality this season.

The title is slipping away from them. They're likely to lose the Absa Premiership to their bitter rivals, Kaizer Chiefs. At the Amazulu match, fans of the Soweto giants at the Moses Mabhida Stadium started pelting De Sa with all kinds of objects including vuvuzelas and plastic bottles Club officials and security guards had to shield the coach as he walked off the pitch.
