DA bad for job creation – ANC W Cape

Ruling party says DA responsible for loss of 90 000 jobs in province over last quarter

DA bad for job creation

1 August 2016

The Democratic Alliance are failing to create jobs in the City of Cape Town and the Western Cape.  After ten years of DA governance they continue to let the people down and lead them to hopelessness and desperation.

The latest Quarterly Labour Force survey, Quarter 2, 2016 released last Thursday by Statistics South Africa exposed the lies the DA has been feeding our people.  (Available on the government website)

The truth is that the Democratic Alliance government is responsible for the loss of 90 000 jobs in the Western Cape over the last quarter.  This is almost three times more than any other Province.

In stark contrast the the ANC led government in Gauteng created 46 000 employment opportunities over the same period.

49 000 jobs were lost In the City of Cape Town alone by the DA government.  This is more job losses than any other Metro in the Country. Johannesburg governed by the ANC for the same period created 37 000 employment opportunities.

This is clear proof that the DA can not be trusted to govern as they themselves proofed over the past 10 years and with the increase in unemployment figures.

The DA is leading our young people into despair. Instead of creating jobs and hope the DA forces them into the streets and towards drugs.

The time for the DA is up.  Our people will reject them and their lies on the 3 August at the ballot box.
