Daily Sun (1 September 2015 ) - A WEEK LATER, the bloodstained bed is still in the bedroom – a gruesome reminder of a brutal murder.
And until rituals are performed, the family won’t clean the room . . . but they claim to already be haunted.

Daily Sun visited the house in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni, where Thandazwa Bolitye (25) and her 31-year-old boyfriend had a violent argument in his aunt’s house. The argument led to death when the boyfriend grabbed a knife and stabbed the young woman to death. Since then the man has been on the run.
The boyfriend’s 59-year-old aunt, Catherine Majola, who owns the house, said the killing took place more than a week ago last Monday, but since then strange things have been happening in the house.
It is so bad that they have moved in with neighbours. “We are too scared to be in this house,” said the aunt.
“We hear things falling on the floor as if they are being thrown around. “Sometimes we hear screams and footsteps.”
She said they were too afraid to clean the room because they do not want to be cursed. “My nephew must come and clean this mess. We don’t want to sleep in the house now because we fear evil spirits.”
She said her family asked relatives of the dead woman to come to the house to perform cleansing rituals, but they refused. “We don’t know what to do now. Her relatives say they want the body but they are not prepared to do anything at the house,” she said.
The SunTeam asked Thandazwa’s relatives in Ngcobo, Eastern Cape, why they didn’t want to lift her spirit and her sister, Asiphe Masoyise, said they don’t have money for transport. “They must organise for her body to be transported to Eastern Cape for burial,” she said.
Another of the suspect’s relatives said they don’t have the money to send the body to her family. “We need to find R12 000. Nobody in our family has a job,” she said.
Captain Manyadza Ralidzivha said a murder case was opened. He said Dumisani Majola (31) was wanted for questioning. Anyone with information should contact 08600 10111 or SMS 32211.
