ANC STATEMENT ON THE RESIGNATION OF JOHN BLOCK

The African National Congress acknowledges the decision of Comrade John Block to resign as Provincial Chairperson and Member of Executive Council (MEC) of the Northern Cape following the guilty verdict by the court of law. 

His resignation is consistent with the conduct of a disciplined cadre particularly in view of the resolutions of Mangaung and the 4th NGC of the ANC.
