"Masisizane!" - Daily Sun

The front page and lead story of SA's largest daily newspaper, July 4 2014

Daily Sun (July 4 2014) - SOUTH Africans are going through a very tough time. Food, transport, electricity and education all cost money and, with unemployment running so high, nearly everyone has empty pockets. No one wants to see his or her children going to bed on empty stomachs. No one wants to apply for a job for the 20th time only to find no work is available.

It makes many of us want to lose hope.

Yet there are real heroes among us - you will meet some of them on pages 14 and 15 today. They are people who are making do - or trying hard to make do - against all odds.

The People's Paper wants to give back to as many of you as possible - and today we announce SunMasisizane, Helping Each Other.

During this month, our birthday month, we will be giving away R250 000 in cash. From Monday, 10 people win will R1 000 every day for 19 days. And for the next three weeks, four people will win R5 000 each Friday.

The way this give-away works is on
