The ANC has also deployed Cde Thandi Modise, Cde Thoko Didiza and Cde iNkosi Zwelivelile Mandela to the Pan African Parliament (PAP) to strengthen South Africa’s representation at the PAP. Cde Thandi Modise will be leader of the South African delegation.

The Office of the ANC Chief Whip congratulates the new appointees and wish them well in their responsibilities. We are quite certain they will serve these committees with the same vigour and commitment as they have previously done in various other deployments the movement has entrusted them with over the years.

We have no doubt that the new changes will further reinforce parliament`s oversight role over the executive and enhance quality service delivery to the people of South Africa.

We also thank the comrades who previously held these positions for the sterling work they have done and the contribution they have made to caucus and parliament.
