"Poke me please!" - Daily Sun

"Toilus' desperate plea to his wife of 17 years" - front page lead September 26 2014

Daily Sun (September 26 2014) - I OPEN my wallet, but she won't open her legs. This was the message from a frustrated Toilus Phiri (46) from Mamelodi East in Tshwane when he spoke to Daily Sun.

FOR THE PAST 14 MONTHS HIS WIFE HASN'T GIVEN HIM ANY SEX!

"We were happily married for 16 years, until just over a year ago," Toilus said.

"Since then we've never slept in the same bed."

His wife, Febby Phiri (37), admits she's not interested in poking Toilus any more.

"I've had enough of him and I no longer love him," Febby told the People's Paper.

"But there's no way "I'm leaving this nice house."

Toilus even claims his wife, his sister and a younger relative want him out his house because they want to use it as a brothel.

"Febby moved into another bedroom. But every night I hear the baby cry, and when I go to check she's not in the room," he said.

"I've caught her bringing other men into the house. Now she's teaching other relatives this way of living."

But Febby said the men are just her friends and she never cheats on Toilus.

"Whenever I do my husband's washing, I find condoms for men and women in his pockets," she said.

"What kind of a man walks around with condoms?

"He's been an abusive husband, even when I was pregnant."

Toilus's sister, Jenifer Phiri, said her brother must leave her alone.

"He must stop speaking about my life, stand up as a man and go to work," she said.

"He must deal with his wife if he has a problem with her, and shouldn't include me."

Toilus has been to social workers and cops to try to resolve his family problems, but nothing helped.

"If Febby doesn't love me she must leave my house and go where she spends her nights," he said.
