DA’s #Team1SA Campaign Launch an overwhelming success

Yesterday, the Democratic Alliance (DA) Federal Leader, Mmusi Maimane, launched the Party’s 2019 National Elections Campaign along with his core election team who have been tasked with taking our offer to every single corner of South Africa between now and election day.

Maimane’s Team One South Africa consists of a group of young and dynamic leaders including: Geordin Hill-Lewis (Access to Jobs), Jacques Julius (Secure Borders), John Steenhuisen (Crime), Luyolo Mphithi (Youth), Makashule Gana (Basic Services), Natasha Mazzone (State Capture), Nomafrench Mbombo (DA Women's Network), Phumzile van Damme (Corruption), Solly Malatsi (Campaign Spokesperson), Thandeka Mbabama (Land) and Yusuf Cassim (Students).

Our campaign launch at the Mary Fitzgerald Square in Johannesburg saw more than 4 000 South Africans from all walks of life come together to celebrate our diversity and our shared commitment to bring change that builds One South Africa for All.

Since yesterday’s launch, more than 1 500 South Africans have already joined our #Team1SA volunteer movement to share the DA’s message of building a dynamic, vibrant and successful country based on our core values of freedom, fairness, opportunity and diversity.
