Vince Musewe joins ZUNDE

Economist and columnist takes up position as chief advisor on strategy and economic policy

VINCE MUSEWE JOINS ZUNDE

Vince Musewe, a qualified accountant, prominent economist, prolific writer and a discerning political analyst based in Harare has joined ZUNDE as its chief advisor on strategy and economic policy. He brings to ZUNDE his wealth of experience in and deep understanding of economics and financial markets.

ZUNDE is pleased to have in its leadership someone who has demonstrated a clear understanding of the political, social and economic challenges faced by Zimbabwe and what needs to be done to create a contemporary state in Zimbabwe.

Vince has an economics degree from the University of Zimbabwe coupled with 30 years' experience in financial and investments markets both in South Africa and Zimbabwe. A renowned columnist on economics and politics and public speaker, he will be responsible for charting ZUNDE's strategy and economic policy going forwards.

Vince will work directly with the President of ZUNDE and its global leadership team to create the necessary linkages to build a political movement that has both international and local appeal to young progressive Zimbabweans who wish to see the emergence of a new Zimbabwe underpinned by freedom, equity, justice, young and visionary leadership.

Musewe believes that Zimbabwe can only realise its full potential when all citizens can participate in its political and economic institutions that are inclusive in nature and put Zimbabwe first. He states "We are the captains of our destiny, and the sooner young Zimbabweans take responsibility to create the circumstances we want, as opposed to expecting others to do it for us, the quicker we can realise those dreams we had in 1980 of a free and prosperous country where all can contribute to its development unhindered by selfish political motives as we have experienced for the last 34 years.

Zimbabwe belongs to all of us and no one should be allowed to claim exclusive rights to its leadership and resources. It's time to be the change that we want to see and I invite all Zimbabweans to cast away their apathy and fear and join us in creating the Zimbabwe we want."

ZUNDE welcomes Vince to the team and look forward to his contribution in our quest to nurture tomorrow's leaders and define a Zimbabwe that is significantly different from the past. At ZUNDE, we have pledged to work with progressive minds in Zimbabwe and in the Diaspora and will continue to do so until final victory.
