Mmusi Maimane: Zille's project is realised

MMUSI MAIMANE: HELEN ZILLE’S PROJECT COMES TO FULL FRUITION

If there is anybody to be credited for Mmusi’s rise to top job in the official opposition that person should be Helen Zille. We should all be responsible enough to give credit where it is due. Nobody should deny Helen a congratulatory message for the work well done. She nicely set the scene and the stage for the rise of Mmusi, disadvantaging everyone who had ambition to lead DA.

The timing was meant to squeeze any soul that might want to challenge her proxy out of the competition. I feel for Dr Wilmot James as he could not have mounted a serious campaign against a person that started campaign for the past five years. He was definitely baby seated and guided into a position of power by her conceiver.

Less than six years ago Helen Zille realised that the party that grew out of Apartheid, a party whose DNA is unapologetically racist will not be politically relevant for as long as its paternity can still be traced back to Verwoerd. All manner of strategies were employed with the sole intention to hoodwink majority of our people into bed with the legacy of Cecil John Rhodes and Verwoerd unfortunately none of them worked.

The strategies ranged from embarrassing Joe Seremane to changing the name of this Apartheid machinery from Progressive Party to Democratic Alliance and this did not attract expected black votes. The party then went to change its flag to try and include some elements resembling South African flag hoping to charm lumpen proletariat, they got disappointed as well. As if it was not enough the party moved from Swart Gevaar message to open opportunity society still it did not get any gratification.

The strategy took a worse turn when the white liberals resolved to go shop around for black faces to be recruited into DA, these faces were expected to assist to woo unsuspecting voters, these faces were led by individuals such as Lindiwe Mazibuko, the strategy bore some fruits though the anticipated targets and percentages were not met. As if the above is not enough they went out to rent a high profile figures to assist in their mission of hoodwinking voters, and DA was able to catch our very own Mamphela Ramphele.

The big fish proved to be a fiasco of unprecedented proportion for the organisation; she refused to be controlled by white thinking which sought to suggest that whatever white is intellectually superior. At least elements of black consciousness lingering in her, imbued by her late partner our great Steve Biko were able to help her to get into her senses and she blatantly refused white dictatorship.

As a result we saw an abrupt end to fake relationship littered with public kissing showing fong Kon affection. The strategy of white mentality in DA has taken another turn today. The strategy has decided to look inside DA and Mmusi was found to be a pertinent public relations opportunity to win DA more black voters sad as it may sound; Mmusi has emerged as a leader. Let me not be jealous, congrats Mmusi! I know you depend on luck so good luck!

Mmusi is but an obvious Helen Zille project though it is less than six years. The project came into a full fruition thanks to her commitment to the project. It is Helen who resolved to engage in social intercourse across the colour bar so that a right face for rent a black strategy may be found.

Wa la! Mmusi was political conceived through political artificial insemination. That was a political birth of Mmusi in the structures of DA in case you were not aware.

The foetus was politically natured from the womb; the mother was given a strict political nutrition of open opportunity society. Helen made sure that the Gauteng which was to mother this poor soul is well nourished with specific political dietary directives. It was to be given the biggest budget ever to mount a campaign to profile the new born.

The infant entered political scene in 2011 through local government elections, as per the wish of Helen, the campaign of more than R100 million was mounted to announce the arrival of a new kid on the block the infant proved to have been made to punch above its weight and failed dismally in the elections judging from the budget allocated.

He was then pushed to a position of a spokesperson to this date we are struggling to trace his legacy as a spokesperson, since 2014 he has struggled to lead official opposition in parliament due to his naivety and failing to inspire confidence from his own ranks who are finding it difficult to follow his not so clear leadership perhaps he does not have a privileging skin colour.

During the weekend a toddler was catapulted to a leader of official opposition in the DA by delegates Informed by desperation to rid DA of its whiteness which is not representative of South African diverse demographics. We are told this political toddler is a game changer of South African political landscape. Well the future will be the judge. How happy she was when announcing the success of her project, as if she was saying hail rent a black strategy.

Mmusi took on DA ceremonial driver’s seat though the real control resides with white liberals, who will definitely be in charge of the posture to be taken by DA. The policy positions of DA will remain under the stewardship of the white guard that is still wilding emphatic influence in DA.

The responsibility of a new leader will be to go out and mobilise a black vote to service white interest. The white interest primary goal is to take out a threat to its economic interest. It believes in restoration of white liberal leadership and maintenance of white face of the commanding heights of the economy. It has made it its mission and a vision to use every means available at its disposal to terminate any social force seeking to tinker with the economy in the interest of the working class.

Do not be misled, manipulated and deceived by new values charter adopted by DA termed family values summarised as Freedom, Fairness and opportunity which is meant for the working class at a face value but inherently white family policy. It is nothing but a revision of open opportunity society that DA has always pursued.

What has changed is correction of wording mistakes made in the original document so that the real intentions of DA are couched in nice sounding terms that might lead innocent minds to mistake DA as an inclusive party of all people particularly the black majority. It is Maimane himself delivering his inaugural speech that said shared values means nobody will be defined in terms of class and race. And this effective says we should not consider South African history of suppression and oppression of black people on the bases of their skin colour. The statement seeks to suggest that there should not be any redress and there is no inequality. It seeks to argue for South Africa that will behave as if there was no 16 June 1976.

Be aware of Helen Zille’s project for it is spewing lethal liberalism. Be aware of this proxy for it is yet to reach adolescence stage. Be aware that Helen Zille is still firmly in charge of DA. Do not be misled for liberalism has now worn a black mask.
