Malema off to meet Mugabe

ANCYL president to lead delegation to meet Zimbabwe's Zanu-PF Youth

ANC YOUTH LEAGUE PERESIDENT JULIUS MALEMA TO LEAD A DELEGATION TO ZIMBABWE AND WILL MEET PRESIDENT ROBERT MUGABE:

ANC Youth League President Julius Malema will lead a delegation of the ANC Youth League National Executive Committee to Zimbabwe. The ANC Youth League delegation will be hosted by ZANU PF Youth and constitutes part of strengthening relations with former liberation movements and will provide both the ANC Youth League and ZANU PF Youth a platform to share information on programmes to build a better Africa and world. The visit will also be utilised to popularise South Africa's hosting of the World Festival for Youth and Students in December 2010.

The visit will also incorporate the ANC Youth League's study-tour programme of visiting countries that have succeeded or failed with Nationalisation of and greater State participation in sectors of their economies. The study-tours will proceed to China, Chile, Venezuela, Brazil and Cuba.

The delegation to Zimbabwe will be led by President Julius Malema and will include the following members of the National Executive Committee:

 - Steven Ngobeni-Deputy Secretary General
  - Pule Mabe-Treasurer General
  - Floyd Shivambu
  - Kenetswe Mosenogi
  - Abner Mosaase
  - Clifford Motsepe
  - Palesa Notsi
  - Maropene Ntuli
The visit to Zimbabwe will happen as follows:

Arrival Time  : 02 April 2010 @ 12H00

On Monday, the 5th of April 2010, the ANC Youth League will hold a joint press briefing with ZANU PF Youth at the Zanu PF Head Quarters, Harare. The ANC Youth League delegation will pay a courtesy visit to His Excellency President Robert Mugabe in Harare.
