Derby Lewis didn't deserve to be alive after what he did – YCLSA

League says they thank nature for taking its course on their leader's murderer

YCLSA statement on the death of Clive John Derby Lewis

3 October 2016

The Young Communist League of South Africa  (Ufasimba) is neither sympathetic nor shocked to learn about the death of Clive John Derby Lewis - one of the cold-blooded murderer of our beloved General Secretary of the South African Communist [SACP] Cde Chris Hani. It is in fact a "delayed death". This murderer never deserved to be in the world of the living after what he did to our beloved General Secretary.

As the YCLSA we always consistently opposed any attempts for him to be granted a medical parole because we believed that assassins of cde Chris Hani must rot in jail. In any case, his medical parole would have been an own goal by our judiciary system - which must the utmost custodian of justice.

We were taught by the SACP leadership to forgive but not to forget. We were further taught not to speak ill about the departed, but on this case of a coward and cold blooded murderer of our beloved General Secretary Cde Chris Hani  we cannot but thank nature for taking its course.Clive John Derby Lewis never deserved to live and his departure to us is a good riddance, albeit we still need to know the truth around cde Hani's assassination.

We will continue to struggle and demand truth from the remaining cold blooded murderer to disclose all the circumstances and "accomplices" - political and otherwise - in the assassination of our General Secretary Cde Chris Hani.
