Malema's now linked politics to farm attacks - TAU SA

League president said farmers have nothing to fear, if they give up most of their land

Does mr Zuma condone farm attacks?

Barely after the ANC youth leader Julius Malema, said that farmers should give up 80% of their land because then they will not longer be attacked, another umpteenth brutal murder of a farmer occurred near Ottosdal. "It has come to the point that Mr Zuma will now have to decide whether he will speak or be silent," says TAU SA's President, Mr. Ben Marais.

"Malema directly connected farm attacks to acquire land. As a leading figure within the ANC it has to  be considered being the ANC's policy. If it is not Mr Zuma has no other choice but to repudiate Malema in the strongest possible way. Zuma should know that his silence condones the Malema statement. The whole world will realize that it is ANC policy to have farmers being killed in order to get their land," said Mr Marais.

"Time has come for the ANC to unambiguously spell out to all South Africans and the world what his true agenda is regarding the future of our country. The uncertainty they create can be seen as a form of sabotage to the country's economy and can actually be regarded as treason. The irresponsible emotional way how promises are made and people are manipulated by fear to vote for the ANC is absurd. South Africa cannot afford the ANC and voters should show this to them unfettered in the polls."
