Peodophile must face full might of the law – ANCWL

Women's League shocked by pervert camouflaging as teacher at school

Statement of the ANCWL on the alleged paedophile at Ekucabangeni High School Nquthu, Northern Kwazulu-Natal

19 August 2016

The African National Congress (ANCWL) is shocked by the news of a paedophile camouflaging as an educator at Ekucabangeni High School in Nquthu, in Northern KwaZulu-Natal. The alleged paedophile has been reportedly luring girl learners into his cottage since 2012 to have sexual intercourse with them.

Schools are centres of development for positive  citizenry, self-improvement, and occupational preparation, anyone who turns them to centres for sexual exploitation of learners must be barred for the rest of his / her life from school yards.

The ANCWL calls on all the learners, stakeholders of the school and the community at large to support the learners who have been victims of the paedophile and must work closely with law enforcement agencies  to ensure that the offender faces the full might of the law.
