PP trying to please Israel-supporting DA with state capture probe - ANCWL

League calls on PP to rather investigate Transnet-Kumba deal during Maria Ramos' tenure

THE ANCWL STATEMENT ON THE NARROW POLITICALLY MOTIVATED INVESTIGATION OF STATE CAPTURE

30 September 2016

The African National Congress Women's League (ANCWL) is surprised that despite her previous claims of not having resources to investigate complains, Public Protector (PP) has moved with speed to ensure that she doesn't disappoint vivid Israel supporters i.e Democratic Alliance (DA).

The tendency of PP, to please DA is not a new. It was observed when PP amendment her report on the multimillion-rand tender for communications services put out by DA led Western Cape provincial government.

In her draft report, the PP found that the inclusion of DA leader and Western Cape Premier Helen Zille’s special advisers — Ryan Coetzee and Gavin Davis — on the tender bid evaluation committee was unlawful and in violation of the Constitution but she quickly retracted on that after DA has objected her report.

It will be unfortunate for the PP's Office to be part of agenda to advance of narrow political opportunism by vivid Israel supporters i.e DA. Their Pastor has lodged complain to advance their narrow agenda of reducing state capture to Corporates run by other racial groups excluding whites.

ANCWL calls for PP to:

- investigate probable maladmistration and corruption between Transnet and Anglo American - Kumba Resources relating to 20yrs contract signed during Ms Maria Ramos tenure.

- release any report related to CIEX for South African to find closure to the matter. It is in the best interest of the ANCWL members and supporters to know the outcome of any investigation related to CIEX report. South Africans need to know about the has been pleading for answers on this matter which alleged over R26bn stolen by senior politicians and their cronies. The Apartheid government and it's cronnies has left South Africa bankrupted and those funds might be benefitting the regime change agents who are hell-bent in removing democratically elected ANC government.

- investigate if there was any influence from Corporates for Minister Des Van Rooyen to be recalled as a Minister of Finance few days after he was appointed.

Any investigation into state capture activities that excludes white monopoly capital, is advancement of white supremacy and serves a racial political agenda that hinders the building of non-racial society.

We call on the PP's Office not be allowed to be a player in settling racial political scores by the Israelites supporters.i.e DA.
