Russell Loubser a loudhailer for white capital - ANCYL

League dismisses criticism from the former JSE CEO with the contempt it deserves

ANCYL response to Mr Russell Loubser

We dismiss with the contempt they deserve the utterances of one Russell Loubser, former CEO of the JSE Securities Exchange. Mr. Loubser is an uninformed and reckless loudhailer of the interests of white monopoly capital and no decent thinking human being with an IQ slightly higher than room temperature (as he accuses the ANC Youth League) would dignify his ramblings with a response (see report).

He has however spoken of things he knows nothing of and it astounds the mind that in 2012 the ANC Youth League would be called upon to account for its views by previously and still advantaged boys of white privilege. At Wits University, he spoke of the ANC Youth League of OR Tambo,Nelson Mandela and Walter Sisulu as if he has any knowledge of such a gallant and fighting movement.

Mr. Loubser has now become these self-appointed expert on the African National Congress Youth League yet we cannot  find in our chronicles any mention of this come-lately revolutionary.

We must hasten to point out that Mr. Loubser dismissal of nationalization as  "emotional and brainless talk" is not only an insult to the ANC Youth League but to the ANC and all its structures as nationalization has been adopted as policy by the National Policy Conference of the ANC.

Mr. Loubser would do himself good to seek to understand the struggles of the people before spewing reckless rhetoric, thinking that attacking the ANC Youth League is a national sport. He makes all his derogatory remarks from his ivory tower, decorated with his salary of more than R14 million in 2011 alone, an increase of 14%  from the previous year; but then again how can we ever expect him to understand the suffering of those who have to die for a mere R12 500 per month?

It is our considered view therefore that Mr. Loubser must constrain himself to the issues that he can profess to understand. We have no doubt that at this point that those are only the management of wealth on behalf of others instead of the creation of wealth he accuses the ANC Youth League of not doing. We are not surprised therefore that after thousands of young people marched to the JSE Securities Exchange during the historic Economic Freedom March last year; we are yet to receive a response from the arrogant and racist JSE if all there are like Mr. Loubser and his kind.

Like it or not, the issues that the ANC Youth League has raised represent the views of the majority of the poor and downtrodden and if white monopoly capital continues to treat them in the manner demonstrated by the shameful and reckless Mr. Loubser, it may be necessary to speak to him in the only language understood by white supremacy in this country.

The quest for Economic Freedom is one that our people shall not abandon regardless of the insults the so-called learned shall hurl at us, it is freedoms that are due to us as a people and for which we shall continue fight for side by side to the end with all resources at our disposal.
