ANC YOUTH LEAGUE CONGRATULATES THE SABC FOR FAIR AND BALANCED COVERAGE OF THE 2011 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS.

The ANC Youth League congratulates the SABC for fair and balanced coverage of the 2011 Local Government Elections, in particular the SABC Radio and Television coverage on the election date, 18 May 2011.

Unlike other counter-revolutionary channels, which are partisan, the SABC is providing a fair and balanced coverage from all corners of South Africa, and not concentrating only where opposition parties won in the previous local government elections.

The SABC's fair and balanced coverage of these local government elections strengthens the call that the SABC should as a matter of urgency establish a 24 hour free to air News Channel. This will save South Africa from counter-revolutionary propaganda of those who have 24 hour News channels and using every bulletin and space they have to undermine and spread lies about the ANC.

The people of South Africa will today humiliate those opposed to the ANC's continued dominance in South Africa by affirming the ANC's decisive victory in all Municipalities. Victory is Certain!
