Zille goes on a bike ride rather than attend jobs summit - COSATU WCape

Tony Ehrenreich expresses outrage at Premier's absence, as well as that of MEC Alan Winde

COSATU is outraged at the absence of DA political leaders at the Western Cape Jobs Summit

The Western Cape Jobs Summit focused on looking at transformation, economic growth and job creation will be held today at 14h00 at the Cape Town Convention Centre. Present will be leaders from Business, Labour, Provincial and National Government and Civil society to plan an economic strategy for the Western Cape.

The Premier of the Province and the MEC Winde has elected to rather go on a bicycle ride in Worcester than work with the social partners to create a partnership and growth for the Western Cape. This again shows the poor leadership of the Premier and the DA to overcome the unemployment problem in the Western Cape.

Business and Labour is working with National Government and the City to grow the economy, the reason for the Premier's absence is because they don't want to see change in economic ownership in the Western Cape. This is because the old white businesses who own the economy are the ones who fund the DA election campaigns.
