Floyd Shivambu says the youth league president is a true, capable, caring leader

ANC YOUTH LEAGUE AGREES WITH PRESIDENT JACOB ZUMA ON HIS EXPRESSION OF CONFIDENCE IN PRESIDENT JULIUS MALEMA:

The African National Congress Youth League stands by its President Julius Malema and totally agrees with the expressions of ANC President Jacob Zuma that our President is worthy of inheriting the leadership of the ANC. The ANC Youth League is today the most formidable youth political organisation, not only in South Africa, but also in the entire continent and the world.

There is no other youth political organisation in the world, which has as much influence on development, justice and redress as the ANC Youth League. This is amongst other things due to the fearlessness, vibrancy and unmitigated focus to development of the ANC YL under the capable leadership of President Julius Malema.

Opposition parties will of course be jealous and object to compliments on the ANC Youth League President because they do not have vibrant youth formations. It is only the ANC in South Africa, which has the capacity and capability to mobilise thousands of young people behind the vision of the ANC and the noble vision of a non-racial, non-sexist, united and democratic South Africa. The ANC Youth League continues to inspire hope to many South Africans and will ensure that the positive aspirations of many South Africans are achieved.

The ANC YL will under the leadership of President Julius Malema continue with social responsibility programmes and campaign for changes that will make all South Africans have access to equitable opportunities. President Julius Malema does not pay lip service to caring and assisting of the poor and downtrodden.

He has contributed to the studies of many poor children, built houses for poor families, helped orphanages with basic needs, and provided teaching and learning support materials to many schools across the country. President Julius Malema is a true, capable and caring leader of the youth of South Africa and no one will stop us from appreciating his capable leadership.

Statement issued by ANC Youth League spokesperson, Floyd Shivambu, October 27 2009

@Realist Wrong very Wrong
The YL have over 600 000 members nationwide. In fact 120 000 have joined since Julius took over just a year ago, it's growing in membership, relevance and stature. Get your facts straight.

The truth hurts
Fact is, the typical African President IS a loutish braggard with zero education who's into Nationalization of mines, banks, land, explaining casual rape of woman, etc - so Zuma wasn't being dishonest when he said Malema was good to go as the next ANC . .more

Pity someone didn't contribute something to Julie's education. Bantu education was supposed to educate blacks only to be "hewers of wood and drawers of water".
I hope Julie is good at drawing water, because he failed miserably at the hewing of wood . .more
