Zuma militia goes after the PP in parliament - EFF

Fighters say ANC MPs trying to delegitimise Thuli Madonsela's work in an effort to protect the President

The EFF condemns the thuggery conduct of ANC MPs who attacked the public protector

The Economic Freedom Fighters rejects the baseless opportunistic attacks on the Public Protector by the ANC Members of Parliament who are acting as Zuma militia. The aim is to delegitimise her work as a way of protecting Jacob Zuma from paying back the money.

ANC MPs who are members of the Parliament Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services came out guns blazing led by the disgruntled Mathole Motshekga whose political career has failed with flying colours.

These Zuma militias blame the Public Protector for the situation of insolvency that her office is in, when in fact both parliament and treasury are refusing to allocate adequate funds for her.

Mathole Motshekga then said the office of the PP is dysfunctional and insinuated that Thuli Madonsela is incompetent in fulfilling her constitutional duties.

It is an open secret that Thuli Madonsela is doing her job with very limited resources and under hostile political conditions. He fearlessness and resilience in executing her tasks have helped highlight the rampant parasitical incidents of corruption at the very top echelons of governments.

As a member of the Nkandla Ad Hoc Committee he was instrumental in refusing the Public Protector to appear and testify about her report. He went to the extent of giving a corrupted interpretation of the Public Protector Act in as far as the meaning of remedial action against the President. The Act clearly puts her findings as binding on all of us and thus on Jacob Zuma, and no other institution except the courts can review them.

The people of South Africa must remember that Mathole Motshekga is a failed chairperson of the ANC in Gauteng, a failed Premier of Gauteng and a failed chief whip of the ANC who is now doing everything in his power to gain relevance as a member of the Zuma gangster group. He is moonlighting as a Nkandla security guard in parliament bringing the status of holding a PhD in law into disrepute.

The Public Protector should be enjoying the protection of parliament on the work she has been doing without being attacked. The reality however is that Jacob Zuma must pay back the money unduly spent in the security upgrade of his private home.
