Politicsweb.co.za, a website focused on the news and politics of southern and particularly South Africa, first went live in September 2007. The editorial ethos of the site is to publish political statements which are interesting or significant, cogent analysis, key news and information, and a plurality of opinion.

Since its launch the site has evolved into a lively online parliament of South African political debate and opinion. It is a place where readers can access, and comment upon, the latest news and party political communication; and, where political writers and actors can get their views across directly to an influential audience.
