COSATU WCape to strike against white overrepresentation in province

Tony Ehrenreich says national govt must intervene to stop Zille violating laws of the country

Cosatu to Strike on Employment Equity Figures for the Western Cape

Cosatu condemns equity figures for the W Cape!

The Employment Equity figures for the W Cape is as bad as it was last year, with white male and females being overrepresented in all areas of senior employment in both the private and public sectors.

This is the agenda that Helen Zille says she will defend to the Constitutional Court. This is so she can continue the apartheid generational advantage of whites in the Western Cape. Her comments about having the best people in the job are contradicted by the realities that exist. There can be no one more incompetent than Donald Grant, but she makes him the head of Education because he is white. I personally deal with many of the white business leaders in Western Cape and barring a few, they are not the shining lights that Zille suggest.

These are her white cronies that she is keeping in positions in the public sector. The private sector follows her example and also preferences white for senior positions in their companies. The actual numbers hide the fact that the picture is a lot whiter, when one takes account of the number of contract workers that are given jobs - for pals.

The National Government must intervene to stop Zille from violating the laws of the country with her racist agenda of defending the apartheid generational advantage of white people. This is the same "logic" she uses when she does not promote the equalisation and integration of black and white schools. This is also the logic that sees no integration of residential areas between white and black and rich and poor people.

Cosatu will be embarking on a strike to ensure that black [African, Coloured and Indians] are given their rightful place in the economy. Blacks in the Western Cape are tired of working the whites rich and then having to go home to poverty in their dormitory townships.

Zille defends and promotes the baas mentality in the Western Cape.
