Fourth suspect arrested for Ramogibe murder - SAPS

Lieutenant Colonel in Crime Intelligence to join Richard Mdluli and others in dock

A FOURTH SUSPECT NABBED FOR OUPA MURDER

Pretoria :  A fourth and possibly the final suspect was arrested this morning in Doornkloof in connection with the 1999 murder of Oupa Abel Ramogibe.

The fourth suspect, a 52 year old Lieutenant Colonel attached to Crime Intelligence was taken into custody this morning by a SAPS Directorate, the Hawks. He will appear in the Boksburg Magistrate's Court on Monday, 4 April 2011.

He will also be charged with the same charges as his co-accused Lieutenant General Richard Mdluli, Colonel Sebastian Nkosana Ximba and Warrant Officer Samual Dlomo, viz. Murder, Attempted Murder, Intimidation, Kidnapping, Assault GBH, Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Defeating and/or Obstructing the Course of Justice.
