"Death in the rain!" - Daily Sun

The front page and lead story of SA's largest daily newspaper, April 4 2013

Daily Sun (April 4) - RAIN fell hard on Kamohelo Matsaneng's broken little body... But there was no pity for his crying family as they tried to keep him dry with bits of plastic. THE MORTUARY VAN KEPT THEM WAITING ON THE BUSY ROAD FOR MORE THAN FOUR HOURS. A white Toyota Quantum taxi killed the five-year-old child on Tuesday afternoon when his 18-year-old cousin Tumelo went to fetch him from his creche. Tumelo ran, covered in blood, to tell his family in Sebokeng's zone 3, Gauteng. "Gogo and I rushed to the scene and found Kamohelo lying there," said Mimi Matsaneng, the boy's aunt. Gogo Martha Matsaneng (63) and Kamohelo's dad Samuel wept as they told how there was no dignity for their little boy in death. See the Daily Sun mobi site for more...
