Premier also says province recorded an additional 23 deaths

As of 1pm on 17 February, the Western Cape has 5215 active Covid-19 infections with a total of 272 817 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 256 817 recoveries.

The Western Cape has recorded 23 additional deaths, bringing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the province to10 962. We send our condolences to their loved ones at this time.
