EFF congratulates youngest ever winner of SA’s got talent

It’s a victory against history itself, party says

EFF CONGRATULATES  ORATILWE HLONGWANE, DJ ARCH JUNIOR, UNDISPUTED YOUNGEST WINNER OF SA'S GOT TALENT

The EFF congratulates what will go down in history as the undisputed youngest winner of South Africa's Got Talent, Oratilwe Hlongwane AKA DJ Arch Junior, who is only three years old. From when he came on stage, his light already shone brighter than the very Sun of days. The story of Oratilwe is truly that of talent which always trumps age and human inspired development. In essence Oratilwe is a prodigy functioning at a level of a gift.

Coming from Alexandra township which remains disadvantaged and in squalor, Oratilwe at only three has brought a star that is shining volumes of human light to his neighborhood. His story is testimony that material conditions that seek to condemn the people of Alex into perpetual mediocrity do not always win. Oratilwe, from a place materially denied of opportunity, has won. This is a victory against history itself.

We are all inspired by his gift and send revolutionary best wishes to him, his family and neighborhood. May all South Africans of all walks of life take inspiration from the story of this young man; in him a true human gift was born, born to transform our faith in humanity and its potential.

His story is further condemnation of our democracy which has not transformed Alex. We can only imagine how many more talents like him end up in graves, unrecognized and un-affirmed because of the degenerate conditions in the arts, sports and education of our people.

May Oratilwe grow to share with the whole world his great gift and be an internationally successful musician.
