EFF STATEMENT ON SUCCESSFUL PROVINCIAL PEOPLE’S ASSEMBLIES

Monday, September 3, 2018

The Economic Freedom Fighters held three successful Provincial People’s Assemblies (PPA) in the Provinces of Gauteng, Mpumalanga and North West in the weekend of 31st August to 2nd September 2018. The PPAs are elective Conferences of the EFF, which take place once every Four years to elect EFF Provincial Leadership and adopt resolutions which will guide the politics and programmes of the EFF in each Province.

The three PPAs that took place on the weekend of the 31st August to 2nd September 2018 were presided by Members of the Central Command Team and were all addressed by the Commander in Chief and EFF President Julius Malema. None of the PPAs that took place were disrupted, and none experienced logistical hiccups despite the fact that these PPAs represented a minimum of 90% of Wards with launched and audited branches of the EFF.

The EFF sends its Best Wishes to all the leadership collectives chosen democratically in the three Provinces.

In Gauteng Province, Mandisa Mashego was elected Provincial Chairperson, and Moshe Koma elected as Provincial Secretary. We send our best wishes to the leadership and entire collective of the Gauteng Provincial Command Team.

In Mpumalanga Province, Collen Sedibe was elected Provincial Chairperson, and Gcina Mofokeng elected as Provincial Secretary. We send our best wishes to the leadership and the entire collective of the Mpumalanga Provincial Command Team.

In the North West Province, Shakes Botswe was elected Provincial Chairperson, and Papiki Babuile emerged as Provincial Secretary. We send our best wishes to the leadership and entire collective of the North West Provincial Command Team.

The elected Provincial Chairpersons and Secretaries are, as per the Constitution of the EFF, members of the Central Command Team (CCT), which is the highest decision making body in between the EFF National People’s Assemblies.

Over the weekend of the 7th to the 9th September 2018, the EFF will hold three Provincial People’s Assemblies in the Provinces of Free State, Limpopo and Northern Cape. We call on all delegates and members of the EFF to approach these PPAs with maximum discipline and conduct. There are evil forces that seek to undermine the integrity of the EFF, and all our Ground Forces should never allow such to happen.

The EFF has over the past 5 years quantitatively and qualitatively grown to hold PPAs with a minimum 90% of Wards in each province having functional and audited branches of the EFF. There is no any other organization in South Africa that has developed such presence. The EFF is here to stay and will grow from strength to strength.

The EFF also sends its best wishes to the Regional Command Teams of Cacadu Region in the Eastern Cape, and Cape Metro Region in the Western Cape, who held their Regional People’s Assemblies on the 1st and 2nd September 2018 respectively.
