We are not involved with Zuma riots - Gcaba Brothers and Family

While we support President Jacob Zuma and his family we are not complicit in violence

ABOUT THE ALLEGED INVOLVEMENT OF THE GCABA BROTHERS AND FAMILY IN THE ONGOING UNREST ENGULFING SOUTH AFRICA.

The Gcaba Brothers and Family refute and reject all allegations that they are in any way involved in the current acts of violence that are happening in the country.

While we support President Jacob Zuma and his family as our relatives especially during this time of both bereavement and incarceration, we have made it a point that the lines are not blurred. For those who may not be aware, The former President has lost his brother to a long time illness.

The Gcaba Brothers and Family further refute damaging claims circulated through WhatsApp messages by some unknown people, all other social media posts along with news reports as seen on the SABC that allege the family's involvement in any acts of breaking the law.

Our businesses in the transport sector have suspended all operations and have been affected like everyone else. We value all human lives as responsible and law abiding citizens.

Equally so, we do not condone nor support any acts of violence and unrest. Neither do we support any form of damage to property and loss of life during this time.
