Zuma asked to take time off work - ANC

Party says President needs to recover from intense general election campaign

ANC STATEMENT ON THE PRESIDENT'S ATTENDANCE OF THE ANC NEC LEKGOTLA

The leadership of the ANC has asked President Zuma to take time off from work following an intense elections campaign. The President however came to greet attendants of the ANC Lekgotla in Irene. As expected he briefly gave a political overview to the Lekgotla and left.

REDEPLOYMENT OF DEPUTY PRESIDENT CYRIL RAMAPHOSA TO NEHAWU CONGRESS

Following the decision of the National Officials of the African National Congress, that President Zuma should take time off to recover from the intense general elections campaign, his deployment to address Nehawu Congress today at 14:00 has been re-assigned to Comrade Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa to replace him. This decision has been communicated to Nehawu leadership.
