DA Gauteng Shadow Cabinet announced

The Leader of the Official Opposition in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, John Moodey MPL hereby announces the appointment of his Shadow Cabinet.

His appointees are Mike Moriarty MPL who will be leading the DA team on Finance portfolio, Jack Bloom MPL, a seasoned politician who will be overseeing Health Portfolio and Khume Ramulifho will represent us on Education.

Janet Sample MPL will be responsible for Economic Development, Fred Nel MPL has been tasked with Local Government and Human Settlements portfolio and DR Neil Campbell MPL will oversee Roads and Transport.

Our shadow MEC for Community Safety is Kate Lorimer MPL and Paul Willemburg MPL will be overseeing Sports, Arts and Culture portfolio.

The above-mentioned individuals bring with them an experience spanning 2 or 3 terms in the legislature and those below will be serving their first term but have experience in Local Government having served as councillors.

Refiloe Nt'sekhe MPL will oversee Agriculture and Rural Development portfolio while Alan Fuchs MPL handles Infrastructure Development.

Moodey has full confidence in his appointed shadow cabinet and believes they will do their best to serve the community of Gauteng voters who trusted us with their votes
