We never requested a meeting with Johann Rupert - EFF

Fighters accuse Sunday Times and the white monopoly capitalist of malicious corroboration (March 16)

EFF Rejects media claims that it requested a meeting with Johann Rupert

Economic Freedom Fighters unequivocally disputes the lies that it requested to meet with the white monopoly capitalist Johann Rupert in February. The Times news paper, without even confirming with the EFF has written that "The EFF had requested to meet Rupert at his Stellenbosch offices in February but the request was turned down (see report here)."

This is an act of malicious corroboration between Rupert and The Times in an attempt to delegitimize the criticism of his wish to silence the agenda of nationalization in the ANC. Rupert thinks lying about EFF requesting a meeting with him will result in him being abdicated from the fact that he wished to "doom" the agenda of economic emancipation. This is because he likes to be seen as not interfering in internal party processes, but in the case of the CIC's days in the ruling party he did well to communicate his wishes for CIC to be "doomed". In the end, the truth is that Rupert does not want to see economic emancipation and participation by the poor. This would mean he must loose a lot as a white monopoly capitalist; he wants to remain the only beneficiary of South Africa's wealth together with his few white friends.
