873 patients hospitalised with Covid-19 in WCape – Alan Winde

Premier says province has also recorded an additional three deaths

As of 1pm on 26 March, the Western Cape has 2113 active Covid-19 infections with a total of 279 260 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 265 683 recoveries. A total of 38 699 out of the 44 040 vaccines received to date as part of the Sisonke trial, had been administered by 5pm on 25 March.

The Western Cape has recorded 3 additional deaths, bringing the total number of Covid-19 related deaths in the province to 11 434. We send our condolences to their loved ones at this time.
