ANC gears up for 2016 in Western Cape

The Western Cape ANC Officials met earlier today to get the programme of action for the new year up and running:
Education - The ANC hopes the DA-lead Provincial Government is ready for the re-opening of schools tomorrow in relation to tuition by allowing all students to attend their school of choice and that there'll be no turning away of learners from any school with proper learner transport activated; and that they have a clear plan on how to deal with the problem of overcrowding especially in township schools.
Since the Western Cape was the bestperforming Province (during the 2015 matric exams), the ANC hopes that they've addressed the issue of racism in most schools.
The ANC has a programme to visit schools in all regions where the leadership and public representatives will be on the ground to deal with the challenges faced by learners and teachers and assist where necessary.
Lastly the ANC calls on parents to encourage their children to go to school as education is the key to success and pleads with the provincial department of education that no child should be prevented from attending school.
Jan 8th Rally (celebrating 104th birthday of ANC) – The ANC will be hosting its provincial rally on Saturday 16th January 2016 in Grabouw, Overberg Region.
Accusations against the Chairperson Marius Fransman – The Western Cape ANC stands firm behind the statement issued by the national ANC. The Western Cape ANC notes that an investigation is underway into the matter which at this stage are nothing more than allegations. The ANC calls on all members to persist to be sensitive and calm, while they exercise discipline and refrain from undue or wrongful public comment (like on other or social media) and allow the law to take its course.
