ANC YL CELEBRATES THE VICTORY OF OUR HEROINE, CASTER SEMENYA

The ANC YL joins patriotic South Africans in celebrating the victory of Mokgadi Caster Semenya for the Gold Medal she won at the world Athletics Championships in Berlin. Semenya is definitely a role model and inspiration to thousands of young athletes in South Africa, and her victory will go a long way to inspire as many athletes as possible.

The ANC YL condemns with contempt those who are questioning her gender. Caster is one of South Africa's diligent female athletes, and the most competitive in her generation of athletes. Despite attempts to defocus her, the ANC YL re-affirms its support for Caster and say out loud that all South Africans are behind her.
