ANCYL dismisses Sowetan and Times' lies

League says a bitter individual is feeding falsehoods about its NWC to the media

ANC YOUTH LEAGUE DISMISSES SOWETAN AND THE TIMES LIES

The ANC Youth League dismisses the lies spread by the The Times and Sowetan Newspapers on the outcomes of the ANC YL National Working Committee meeting held on the 10th of April 2012. For The Times to claim that they could not find the Spokespespeople of the ANC YL to get proper information is misleading because Kingdom Mabuza, one of the writers of the story spoke to ANC YL Spokesperson and did not care to be given correct information on the issues the Sowetan and Times report about.

What is apparent from the reports of Sowetan and The Times is that some bitter individual who lost debates in the NWC went to mislead Newspaper Journalists on what were the outcomes of the NWC. It is now getting clearer to the ANC YL on who is interacting with the media as a faceless source, because the lies spread by the Sowetan reflects the arguments of only one individual who lost all the debates.

That individual somewhat believes that what he lost as discussions in the NWC, he can now win in the Sowetan and The Times newspapers. We will soon finalize internal processs and publicly expose the mole which the Sowetan and Times rely on for their disinformation campaign against the ANC YL.

The outcomes of the ANC YL National Working Committee will be publicly communicated on Monday, the 16th of April 2012 after the National Executive Committee, which will happen on Sunday, the 15th of April 2012 in Johannesburg. Any information that will be spread and communicated via media before that time will be misleading and should be treated with contempt and disdain.
