ANCYL NWC establishes KZN task team

League appoints Vukani Ndlovu as convenor, Sphe Zulu as coordinator

ANC YOUTH LEAGUE KWAZULU NATAL PROVINCIAL TASK TEAM

Following the decision to disband the Provincial Executive Committee of the ANC Youth League in KwaZulu Natal, the ANC YL National Working Committee met on the 6th of October 2011 to constitute a Provincial Task Team (PTT). The PTT will be tasked with all the responsibilities of a Provincial Executive Committee, and will become the only official voice of the ANC Youth League in the KwaZulu Natal.The NWC agreed on the following comrades to be members of the Provincial Task Team:

The PTT will carry all the responsibilities of the ANC Youth League in KwaZulu Natal, and be the only official voice of the ANC Youth League in the Province. The PTT is mandated to convene a Provincial Congress of the ANC Youth League before the 28th of February 2012. Towards the Provincial Congress, the PTT will ensure that all Regions of the ANC YL in KwaZulu Natal that are due for regional congresses go to their respective regional congresses.

The ANC Youth League National deployees to KwaZulu Natal met with regional leaders of the ANC Youth League in KwaZulu Natal to announce the PTT and the terms of reference on Friday, the 7th of October 2011. Members of the PTT were also informed of their new responsibilities and will immediately commence with the responsibilities given to them by the National leadership.

The ANC Youth League continues to live, lead and effect the necessary organisational and political leadership to all its structures. Members of the ANC YL in all regions are expected to live by these decisions and avoid the temptation of defining themselves outside the discipline of the organisation.
