Premier and party's provincial leader sustained only minor injuries

ANC LIMPOPO CHAIRPERSON AND HEAD OF GOVERNMENT UNHARMED AFTER MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT

The ANC in Limpopo and all its organisational structures bids its Chairperson, the Premier of Limpopo, a speedy recovery after the motor vehicle he was travelling in today was unfortunately involved in a motor vehicle accident.

The ANC is happy that its provincial leader, who sustained minor injuries, is recovering well in hospital and remains in high spirits.

"Our chairperson is recovering well after the car accident. We have a report from the hospital that the minor injuries he endured during the crash are far from being life threatening. This makes us very happy indeed," says Comrade Makonde Mathivha, ANC Limpopo spokesperson.

He concluded: "We also wish to comfort his family, all members of the ANC, members of all Alliance structures and employees of government in Limpopo in this time of distress - but also assure them the Chairperson is still in good health. He actually joked and begged us to tell everyone not to panic; that the economic freedom revolution was still very much on".
