City Press apology over Golf GTI story welcome - EFF

The EFF welcomes the City Press apology on the story about the purchase of a Golf GTI

The Economic Freedom Fighters welcomes the City Press apology to the EFF published in yesterday's Sunday copy on page two. The City Press basically admits that the story it tiled "How Juju got his ride" was written with incomplete information as the journalist omitted important responses that would have fundamentally had an impact on the angle of the story. This is because the journalist concerned maliciously sought to discredit the leadership of the economic emancipation movement using half baked facts.

The EFF encourages all journalists to perform their duties in the best interests of the truth and refuse to fall into the trap of malice. Journalism must be executed using well tested facts, where reports are written without fear or favour. The EFF reiterates what it has always said that as part of its internal processes, of course the EFF bought a VW Golf 6, which is part of the Assets Registers of the Organisation.
