Hlaudi appeals Labour Court’s ruling – Solidarity

20 September 2017

The trade union Solidarity announced today that Hlaudi Motsoeneng, whom the Court ruled is liable for the costs of the SABC 8 matter on Friday, 8 September, has appealed the ruling of the Court.

According to Anton van der Bijl, Head of Solidarity’s Centre for Fair Labour Practices it is clear that Motsoeneng is trying to delay the inevitable. “However, what he’ll soon realise is that he cannot tire us through litigation and that at the end of the day he will be accountable for all the damage he has caused to so many people. We look forward to opposing him in the Appeal Court,” said Van der Bijl.
