ANC YOUTH LEAGUE CONGRATULATES JIMMY MANYI ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS GOVERNMENT SPOKESPERSON AND GCIS CEO.

The African National Congress Youth League congratulates Cde Jimmy Manyi on his appointment as Government Spokesperson and Chief Executive Officer of the Government Information and Communications Systems.

The ANC Youth League is confident that with his robust activist background, Cde Jimmy Manyi will cogently articulate government positions and significantly contribute towards harnessing and enhancing of government's information and communications systems.

Comrade Jimmy Manyi should immediately focus on his new responsibilities and not pay any attention to howlers who are questioning his readiness to speak on behalf of the government of South Africa, even before he starts.
