Khoza out, Zuma in, paints a poor picture of ANC morals

21 September 2017

The same day that Dr Makhosi Khosa quit the ANC while strongly criticising the party and its leadership, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is embraced by the ANC and sworn in as a member of parliament.

This paints a very clear picture of the fact that morally the ANC has sunk to new depths, says Corné Mulder, chief whip of the FF Plus.

With regard to Dr Khoza’s criticism of President Jacob Zuma and the ANC, Dr Mulder says that Khoza has proven herself to be a woman of principle and valour.

“After Dr Khoza stated publicly that President Zuma should step down, she even received death threats. She, however, did not let that put her off. Recently, she also refused to show up for ANC disciplinary proceedings, which she said were corrupt and unprincipled.

“In stark contrast, Dr Dlamini-Zuma has proven herself to be nothing more than an ANC lackey who is determined to join in the divisive rhetoric with her statements about, amongst other things, white monopoly capital.

“The ANC needs to realise that every morally unjustifiable act is yet another drop filling up the voting public’s glass of mistrust, which the ANC might find hard to swallow at the polls in 2019,” says Dr Mulder.
