SACP Cape Town welcomes reinstatement of Loyiso Nkohla and Andile Lili

Party says all energies should be directed towards dislodging the offensive neo-liberal DA

SACP Brian Bunting welcomes the ANC Western Cape Provincial Disciplinary committee

The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Brian Bunting District welcomes the decision of the ANC Provincial Disciplinary Committee to reinstate Cde Loyiso Nkohla and Andile Lili to its ranks as members in good standing.

As the vanguard party of the working class we believe the unity of the people's camp towards May the 7 national and provincial elections will liberate the workers and the poor from the apartheid government in the form of Democratic Alliance (DA).

Thus as the SACP we will never interfere in the internal processes of our Alliance's organisational leader the ANC. However we will never keep quiet when there is an attempt to silence those who are advancing the struggle of the working class. Hence our view remains that discipline is meant to rehabilitate those who transgress the rules, not to victimise opponents and settle political scores.

It is against this background, that as SACP in Brian Bunting District we believe all energies should be directed towards dislodging the offensive neo-liberal DA ("Democratic Alliance") through engaging in door to door visits to encourage the people to Vote for their liberation movement the ANC.

Statement issued by Benson Ngqentsu, SACP Brian Bunting (Cape Town) District Secretary, March 25 2014
