SACP IN GAUTENG RETURNS ALL OFFICE BEARERS UNOPPOSED

The SACP in Gauteng has returned all its office bearers uncontested in its 11th Provincial Congress currently underway at the Lake hotel, Ekurhuleni.

According to re-elected Provincial Secretary, Jacob Mamabolo (who is also the MEC of Human Settlement and Cooperative Governance in Gauteng), “the retention of all office bearers unopposed is a continuation and entrenchment of the practice started in the 10th Provincial Congress in March 2012. It demonstrates maximum unity of the SACP in the Province, breaking away with past tendencies where elections were a constant source of division.
