SADTU wishes 2015 matric class good luck

Union calls on parents and communities to support learners

SADTU WISHES THE 2015 MATRIC CLASS GOOD LUCK

The South African Democratic Teachers’ Union (SADTU) wishes the 2015 Matric Class good luck in their National Senior Certificate examinations which officially begin today until the 30th of November 2015.

The National Senior Certificate examination is one of the most crucial examinations as learners are at the threshold of their different careers after years of primary and secondary schooling.

Achieving good results provides them with plenty of options for the future education decisions that lie ahead.

We would like to commend the teachers, more especially our members, who went an extra mile in preparing the learners by organising early morning,  Saturday and holiday classes in order to ensure a good pass.

We would like to urge the parents and communities to provide good support to the learners during this examination period that is filled with anxiety.

We believe that despite some challenges in our education system, with some schools experiencing problems of resources,  that should not dampen the learners’ spirits. We wish the 2015 Class success and a prosperous future
