COSAS shocked by SAJBD and Zionist Federation's armed militia, foreign militia must be stopped.

Sunday's final 11th Israeli Apartheid Week protest, which was attended by hundreds of members of various PYA and MDM structures and members of other solidarity groups in South Africa was met with unbelievable hostility and aggression by employed CSO militia of the SA Zionist Federation and SA Jewish Board of Deputies.

This employed CSO militia, consisting of people, including some wearing religious attire and some Israeli Defence (offence) Force mercenaries. Shockingly the Sandton police allowed this militia, which was heavily armed, to be police during the protest. The CSO militia wore outfits written CSO and were claiming to be a security company.

The policeman in charge, a Mr King, told us that the police were working with this CSO militia and that the CSO militia was paid for by the South Arican Zionist federation and the South African Jewish Board of Deputies. 

Never in the history of COSAS protests have we experienced a private company, armed to their teeth, work as police in South Africa. Imagine if the the EFF were to pay thugs to police an ANCYL gathering, it is highly corrupt and suspicious that the Sandton Police allowed such hooligamism and allowed our IAW protest to be intimidated and harassed by thugs who claimed to be police (in their CSO armed vests).

These thugs who harassed, man-handled and threatened protestors more especially women on International Women's Day, young people and peaceful protestors were being commanded by the ever inceasingly whinging agent of imperialism and Apartheid racism, none other than madam Wendy Kahn of the Jewish Board of the Deputies.

If it were not for the bold interventions by ANC NEC member comrade Deputy Minister Obed Bapela, this militia would have been able to continue and increase its agitation of the hundreds of human rights activists who gathered peacefully in solidarity with the people of Palestine. The fearless intervention he made, most likely avoided a violent clash, as the activists were victims of violent brutality at the hands of militia claiming to be South African police.

COSAS demands that there be an investigation into how Wendy managed to get mercenaries and militia to replace police during a protest action. She and the Jewish Board of Deputies have shown their disrespect towards South Africans and our sovereignty. To add insult to this, we now note that the same Jewish Board of Deputies that funded this security and breach of South African sovereignty, have now publicly insulted, attacked and lied about Cde Obed Bapela.

Until the Jewish Board of Deputies apologises for lying about Cde Bapela, who is NEC member in charge of International Relations subcommittee of the ANC, this group of racists Apartheid lobbyists must stop begging for meetings with our ANC leaders.

Truly the SA Jewish Board of Deputies is the Jewish ISIS and threatens our sovereignty through, illegal, mercenaries, militia and invasion. They have repeatedly shown their loyalties to Apartheid Israel, so Wendy can cry all she wants but COSAS will never accept this CSO militia in South Africa. Progressive Jewish community members unlike the SAJBD also participated and joined us in our peaceful gathering, exposing that the Jewish Board of Deputies is not representing Jewish people, but racist Zionist people.
