Society must reclaim the country, register to vote – EFF

Party says the time of complaining is over, it is now time time act

EFF statement on 9 & 10 April 2016 IEC registration days

6 April 2016

South Africa is the most unequal society with the highest rate of unemployment and extreme high levels of poverty. Day in day out South Africans are begging the current government to deliver basic services. Society experience protest after protest which almost always end with loss of innocent lives due to the current government unleashing police brutality unto young and old innocent citizens whom their only sin is to hold the municipalities to account. A right to a decent normal life has been changed to a right to beg for a normal life. We see corrupt tenderpreneurs and their associated ANC government officials flourishing while the delivery of basic quality services remain a pipedream to many.

Society must reclaim South Africa for it is the only home and country we have.  Register to vote on 9 and 10 April 2016 to reclaim your voice. The time of complaining is over and now it is time to act.

It is time to act against the atrocities that the current government has subjected our people to. It is time to act against the cruelty and uncaring ANC councillors who demand bribes and sex in exchange for service delivery. It is time to upgrade the drainage system that subject our people in townships to foul smells. It is time to eradicate pit toilets in our rural areas. It is time to radically change the status quo and register to vote for Our Last Hope for jobs and Service delivery.

We call on every eligible voter of South Africa to register to vote, to check your registration status if you have changed residence or affected by demarcations.

We call on all South Africans old and young to register to vote for free quality basic services.

The Economic Freedom Fighters, Our Last Hope for Jobs and service delivery.

Register to vote for the last hope for free Water and sanitation

Register to vote for the last hope to caring councillors that reside amongst the people

Register to vote for the last hope of government who respects and uphold the constitution of this country.

EFF elections machinery will be covering all 9 provinces, 44 regions and the 4392 wards. Each of the 22570 voting stations will be manned by EFF party agents and volunteers ready to welcome and guide South Africans through the registration processes at the information table outside the voting station.

We call on IEC to exercise maximum leadership during the registration process and not allow anyone to breach the electoral code of conduct and get away with it. We further call on the police to protect our citizens on these two days, protect their right to register to vote, protect them from intimidation and protect campaign material from being vandalized and deliberately destroyed. The police must effect immediate arrests of perpetrators and not allow anyone to be above the law.
